I am building the GBOF Roger Mayer, but need some advise on the layout, pinout and power. On the layout, there is no marking for :in", however, I believe it is the upper left most corner socket (note: I have socketed the entire board to allow many different builds as a means if keeping idle hands busy). On the pinout, I have AC128, and believe the pinout goes e,b,c, with b at the top of the triangle and e, left, c to the right, placed on the board CBE, top to bottom. On the power, I assume the battery leads are simply reversed going to the 9v- and GRND sockets shown on the layout. Does anything need to be done for the LED (I am using Barry's 3PDT board and think something has to be changed to accommodate the reversed polarity, just not sure what.) Finally, can I use 2N3906 PNP (or other) in place of AC128 until I get it right?
Thanks in advance,
BTW, this is one great board of fuzz.

Got the Amp't ST last week and it works great.
The pedal is very silent in non boost mode but there is a distnctive hum on the amp in boost mode.
Can I trim this out?

Hey dcountry13. I finished the easydrive that you had sent me parts for and I'm curious if I might have made a mistake. It came out as a very heavy distortion/fuzz pedal? Any thought on why it might sound so heavy?

hey D. I posted this question in the Fu2 layout thread. Barry suggested I PM you for some info.

I'm trying to figure out what transistors to get for the Fuzz Factory. I'm looking around for the AC128, and I see a few around, but with different gain and leakage of course. And there's a ton of trannies at smallbear, though none are labelled as AC128. same with some other sellers, including Culturejam's shop.

Can you make a recommendation or provide a little guidance? I'd love to build this pedal, but don't want to get into it until I have this piece of the puzzle.
