I wish every circuit was this interesting to watch.

By the way this is the easiest method of adjusting the trimmer for optimal performance. Connect chanel 1 of the oscilloscope to the input and channel 2 to the output of the phasing stage (pin1 IC2). Use a test frequency of a few hundred Hz (lower frequencies don't phase as much), adjust the trimmer until you get maximum horizontal travel of the wave on channel 2

Man, I could watch scope for hours..... It kind of sucks you in like a strobe tuner. I gotta get one.
